Natural everyday makeup look.

Wednesday, 28 May 2014

As it's spring, I thought I'd show you a lovely natural look, just perfect for spring and it's pretty much what I wear on a daily basis.
It gives you a natural glow, and adds that spring/summer feeling everyone wants this time in the year. Before I start, I would like to say that I am in no means a makeup artist, and I don't have imperfection clear skin, but hey ho, this is what I like doing so yeah! Anyway, Into the look..

Firstly, I used moisturizer on my face, to get rid of any dry areas I may have. The moisturizer I used was The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream. This also helps add that dewy effect, with doesn't leave you with a shiny face.
After this, I started to apply my foundation. Now, I use a mixture of 2 foundations, just to again add a nice effect, without it looking cakey. I use the Collection - Lasting perfection foundation with SPF20 and the Maybelline satin mousse, which I think is now discontinued? but anyway, This adds more of a satin feel, instead of the really matte touch. Then add concealer where needed!

Now, gather your bronzer and blush. Add this to your cheek bones and put a little in you t-zone, this will give you the glowy effect. I used a product I can't remember the name of, but I think its from avon.

As I wanted this to be an elegant and nautral look, I haven't
added any eyeliner, or dark lips. Just a brown eye pencil can be
applied to the top lash line, and blended throughout.
And for the lips, try a lip gloss, preferably a light pink one, with maybe a little sparkle?

Now, to finish it all off, add some mascara and brush over with pressed powder to set the whole look in
place!

*I did this one different, as I didn't want it to be a tutorial. Hope you all still like it though!*

Thanks for reading, Lots of loves, Hugs and Bows

Something new.

Sunday, 11 May 2014

Hey guys, today's post is more of an informative post, than my usual beauty updates etc.  But first of all, I just want to say a MASSIVE THANKS to all my readers out there who got me to 2000 views. It was a month ago now, but I still can't believe it has happened, so yeah thanks everyone for all the support, and lets hope I get more views in the future.

Now, lets get onto the important stuff. As you'll have noticed, I re-designed my page a few months ago, and this was because I fancied a change. However, over the next few weeks, I'm hoping to have a professional designed page up, so that my page looks a little less amateur.
Recently, I've been really looking at other bloggers pages, and decided that my weekly blogging is going to be changed. I'm not saying that I will only post once in a blue moon, I've just decided to post whenever I want to, instead of sticking to a routine. So, this could mean, that there will be 2 posts on one week, but none on the next. I've decided to do this as it has become apparent that I don't have billions of ideas for posts and sometimes, I fail to think of any. So, by posting like this, I will be able to save ideas for certain times in the year.

Also, over the next few months, I'm going to be busy with lots of exams, and stuff to do with home, But after this, I'm hoping to go further with blogging, and make it into a YouTube platform too. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but with all the things that are going on I just need to find the time. Now, before I say this is definite, I need to see how my situation is once all the chaos is over, so I may start this venture later in the year, maybe October/November time.

As I have mentioned in a previous post before, I am starting up a little business with my friend called 'M&A', we were aiming to get this started in April, but obviously this didn't happen. So, I'm hoping that again, you start to see this in October/November time.

And finally, I bet your wondering why I'm changing everything. Well, I have been planning it for a while. I only started this blog last year, and to be honest it started off as just a little thing I did when I wanted too, But recently, I've been really wanting to push on and actually make this into something that I might want to carry on into the future, and also maybe incorporate it into a job opportunity when I'm older and leaving school. Also, I was looking at my first ever posts, and they've made me notice how I need to up my game!

So, That's it for this week! I hope your all as excited as I am about all the changes happening to, and I hope you all continue to support my page as it means such a lot! Anyway, see you all next time!

April favorites!

Thursday, 8 May 2014

The last time I posted a 'favorites' for you was February. That was because I didn't seem to come across anything new in March, but I have in the month of April so yeah!

April I have to say was a pretty amazing month, and a lot of new changes occurred, Including a new layout to my blog. But anyway here's a few favorites for you!

I'll do this differently, and start off with a non beauty based favorite. And of course it has to be the Vamps' new album, 'Meet The Vamps'. The songs on here are my go to spring sing alongs! I've only had  a copy of this for a few weeks, but I know almost every single word, to every single track. I have my favorites too! I love 'Dangerous' which is No.13 on the album, Its just very up beat as well as being a more softer piece of music than some of the other tracks. But, All the others are still pretty insane! So yeah guys, I seriously recommend y'all getting your hands on a copy! I have a lot more musical favorites, but I'm sure I may do a post on them all sometime.

Now, onto all my beauty faves!

I'll start with some products I've mentioned before, It's the Naked Shampoo Range. Now, again, as mentioned before, I only purchased these thanks to Niomi Smart, the Lady Smart Blogger. Now, These really are a God send for me, I know that sounds strange, but, I can't tell you enough how much they have stopped my hair from frizzing and being very unruling. It's so much easier to style, and my hair just looks a lot more healthier.

Now onto another hair favorite, The Toni&Guy Sea salt spray. I'm late onto the band wagon with this, but It has been recommended to be by many people, and with finally having short hair I thought I'd give it a try. And It's pretty amazing! It adds so much texture and wave-i-ness to my hair it's pretty unbelievable. Now, this is a quite pricey product, but they are loads more texturing sprays out there and they all do the same job in the end.

Now, moving down the face, onto the Lips!, Recently, I have been getting quite dehydrated lips, causing them to go a tad dry. So, I went out and bought the Burt's Bees Mango Lip Balm. Yet again, I'm late hoping onto the bandwagon, but now I own one, I can see what all the fuss is about! I have never had such a restoring, re-hydrating lip product. It's a very clever little thing.

So, that is all my favourites for the month of April, hope y'all enjoyed reading and yeah, see yous next week with a everyday makeup routine..

Lots of loves, hugs and bows!
